The Orquestra de Câmara Portuguesa marks the second day of the 4th edition of the Oeiras International Chamber Music Festival (FIMCO) on 26 September at 9.00 pm at the OCP’s headquarters in Algés, with the concert ‘Piano and Vibraphone in Dialogue’. The performance brings together the talent and dedication of the young musicians Francisco Couto and Jonathan Silva in an expressive artistic dialogue, characterised by the rapport between two outstanding performers.

The programme brings together works by Armando José Fernandes (1906–1983), a leading figure of Portuguese modernism, with previously unperformed works by Solange Azevedo, Paulo Perfeito, Francisco Ribeiro and Daniel Bernardes.

In a convergence of eras, timbral worlds and expressive approaches, the piano and vibraphone open up fresh perspectives for the celebration of contemporary Portuguese composition. A striking performance highlighting the continuous bridge between heritage and innovation, showcasing the artistic synergy between two prominent voices of the new generation.
