On 21 June at 3 pm, the Navegadores neighbourhood in Porto Salvo will host a new performance by the Navegadores Orchestra. The concert begins with the first movement of Steve Reich’s “Drumming”, conducted by Pedro Carneiro and featuring Rui Melo, Gustavo Silva and Francisco França, students at the Lisbon Higher School of Music.

Afterwards, the young musicians of the Orquestra dos Navegadores will share their dedication and enthusiasm with family members, teachers and local residents through a musical selection featuring works by composers such as Haydn, Bizet, Dvořák and Vivaldi.
