To celebrate the New Year, the Jovem Orquestra Portuguesa presents a Soloists’ Gala, featuring some of the most beautiful pieces by the great masters of Baroque and Classical music.

This extraordinary programme is performed with the incandescent energy of the Jovem Orquestra Portuguesa (JOP), the national youth orchestra, ambassador of Portugal’s talent in Europe and the world, made up of young musicians aged between 14 and 28, selected through auditions held throughout the country (North, Centre, South, Azores and Madeira) every year, without distinction of academic background or financial capacity, promoting their specialisation, training and launch into the national and European job market.
