The next season of the Jovem Orquestra Portugues is starting soon!

If you’re aged between 14 and 28, have a passion for music and a desire to grow, challenge yourself and enjoy an unforgettable artistic experience, now is the time to start preparing for your auditions.

In the last fortnight of October 2026, the JOP will once again tour the country to hold in-person auditions in Coimbra, Porto, Faro, Lisbon, Ponta Delgada and Funchal.

Being part of JOP is much more than just playing in an orchestra. It means working alongside outstanding musicians and conductors, meeting colleagues from all over the country, forming lifelong friendships, discovering new artistic challenges and representing Portugal on major national and international stages.
